When my kids found out that they were stuck with the old costumes from last halloween or they would have to get creative with old clothes around the house, they were so disappointed. We’ve all been preparing for trick or treaters this halloween. I bought quite a few items for a spooky décor. Our whole family is excited about halloween this year. I can’t believe that Halloween is so close. I tried my little daughters’ toddler costume on her yesterday and it doesn’t fit her anymore. There are so many cute possibilities for our daughter in the costumes for toddler selection. Forget about my husband helping me choose. He narrowed it down to five or six possibilities. So the decision was on my shoulders. I found the cutest little girl pirate costume I liked. She’d look so adorable in the little skirt and pirate hat. Every costume I ran across made it even harder to make a final decision. I thought I’d clue my sister into all they have at this online shopping store for Halloween. But, she knew all about it and did all her Halloween shopping there. She was going to let me know about it at lunch tomorrow. The costumes she ordered for her two kids were a marshmallow peep for the toddler boy costume and a star wars character for the older.
The giant spider she said she bought for her porch really sounds spectacular. I hadn’t checked out all the decorating ideas they had, but I certainly intended to. But first I had to choose a costume for our daughter. The little storybook witch was the one I finally chose for our daughter. So, that was that. So, I filled out my order for the little storybook witch. Next my husband and I sat down and checked out all the decorations and props they had. She wasn’t lying, there are a lot of decoration ideas. We ended up buying quite a lot of decorations for the yard and house, but not the giant spider. The giant spider would never have fit on our porch, but the little ones were perfect. My husband did want to get a few things for the front yard. We chose some tombstones and other ghostly decorations. Considering all the props and Halloween décor, plus the adorable little toddler costume we ordered, we made out alright. All of our Halloween decorations, props and the costume arrived right on time. The witch costume looked fantastic on our little one. The yard looked so cool with all the decorations my husband put up. He had such a great time putting all the Halloween décor all over the front of the house. This year Halloween will be spectacular.

We chose a few cool decorations to display in our yard and around our house, also. On our porch there will be a gigantic black spider on halloween night. This is a really cool looking spider. This spider was put on the order as soon as he saw it. We also ordered a lot of bats, spiders and other eerie creatures for the porch. He filled the yard with eerie ghosts, more scarry props and graves placed everywhere. He was really starting to get into it. He was just like a little kid. For Halloween all my little girl wanted was to wear a pretty little fairy costume. She’s always liked fairies. But she didn’t know for sure which kind of fairy she wanted to be. After checking out some of the fairy costume ideas she seemed even more unsure of which to pick. We saw a couple of costumes, including a princess one, but she wants to keep searching. We have another little girl that we had to buy a costume for. I did find a fairy costume that was a little tulip and would look so cute on her. They were for toddlers and should fit her perfectly. Our daughter had this plan that we will all dress up in fairy outfits for halloween. I explained to her that Daddy might not go for that idea, and we may not be able to be a fairy family. I’m sure her Daddy wouldn’t go for the idea. He burst out laughing when I let him know about our little girls idea. I tried to make her understand that fairies are little girls. But she let me know right away, that according to her movie there are boy fairies. What kind of come back could I have for that? All I could do was keep her busy looking for her halloween outfit and hope she forgot her family fairy idea. We checked out princess costumes and other fairy halloween outfits looking for the perfect one. There was quite a selection to look over. She did find one she thought would be perfect for me. She said I should wear the costume of the fairy godmother since I was already a mommy. I promised to think it over and agreed with her that it would be a great costume for mommy.
After looking at costumes for the rest of us, we got back to looking for the perfect little girl fairy costume for her. Finally she spotted the one she wanted. She chose to wear a snowflake fairy costume. It was such an adorable costume. It was the perfect costume for a little winter fairy, just as white as snow. So, that was it. Now we had to look for all the accessories she would need to go with it. We ordered the snowflake wings and wand for her costume. We also picked out a snowflake fairy tiara to go with the outfit. She already had the white tights and shoes she needed to go with it. So our little snowflake fairy was all taken care of. We also had everything for her little sister ordered too. She is going to be the little tulip fairy.
We did alright in the props and décor department. My husband is enjoying doing all this decorating for the holiday. Our little girl loved helping Dad with covering the house and yard with halloween decorations. She can hardly wait for halloween to get here. We all had to put on our costumes for her as soon as they got here. The girls were so cute in their little fairy costumes. I broke down and agreed to be the fairy godmother this year. Dad, who refused to be a part of the fairy family, is now going to be the tooth fairy.
